Star Wars Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia 50p Royal Mint 2023 Display

In the battleground of the Star Wars universe, two of the most prominent soldiers in the fight against evil are Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, who have been key characters in the series from the outset. As recognisable today as they were when they first appeared in 1977, the Skywalker siblings remain an embodiment of heroism in sci-fi cinema to this day.

This is the third coin in a four-coin collection inspired by Star Wars and the first time these iconic characters have featured on a UK coin. It is dated 2023, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi film.

The coin is supplied in a coin capsule with black foam surround. The coin is held inside the ‘Warp Speed’ space themed display case with magnetic open/close.
